This place is such a waste of money. The starters are ok but the mains are disgusting. They overload thier food with vinegar making the food disgusting.

I visited the establishment with my boyfriend this weekend, the farmhouse is always one of our favourite places as the atmosphere and service is usually top notch.

Shane our waiter was incredible with so much knowledge and a want to help. I couldn’t praise him more.

Unfortunately as I was eating my meal which was incredible the magician who is on site had an accident and spilt hot coal and ash from the shisha all over my food and hand. The staff noticed as soon as it happened and there was around 7 people at our table straight away which was overwhelming. They offered to remake my food straight away but my boyfriend was basically finished and given everyone staring I didn’t feel comfortable anymore so I advised them that I was okay and I didn’t want them to, to which they replied okay we will get that off the bill as I hadn’t even got half way through. The rest of the evening they kept checking in which made us feel like they were really solving the problem that had arose and accidents happen.

One staff member brought out a desert which I said it wasn’t the correct one that we had ordered, he told me it was on them as an additional apology. Again making us feel that they care for their customers. When we requested our bill a waiter that was on the location at the time of the accident got our bill from the bar area and looked confused he then went up to a staff member that was in all black before bringing it over. When I checked the bill they hadn’t taken the food off, thinking it was a printing error my boyfriend put the cash out with a tip for the waiter, and explained this to him.

Then I assume a manager came over to confront us on this which honestly made us feel like tramps. He tried to say there was “miss communication” which there was not. My boyfriend confronted him on this as to why I would be expected to pay for a meal after I had been told that it would be removed. Expecting me to pay for a meal that wasn’t even half finished that had hot coals and ash spilt into by staff is absurd. He demanded to know who had said this and kept pushing for us to identify the member but like I said there were that many people surrounding us I couldn’t remember who it exactly was without seeing him. After back and forth he finally agreed to take it off not after being loud and drawing attention to us to again belittle us like it wasn’t in our budget. This ruined the whole evening which is a shame as we love the establishment but I will not be rushing back after this.

I came back after a couple of years and was so pleased to see that the quality hasn’t changed — if anything, it’s gotten even better. The menu has been slightly refreshed, but still includes some of the classic, amazing dishes I remember from my last visit. Once again, everything was near perfection.

A special mention to Saba and Hanna, who were both absolutely wonderful during our meal on a busy Sunday. They made sure everything from our starters to mains and drinks was spot on. Their attention to detail and warm service really elevated the experience. I couldn’t have been happier, looking forward to my next visit already!

The farmhouse was an excellent getaway – peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. The ambiance was exactly what we were looking for, and the overall experience was relaxing and enjoyable.

That said, there were two downsides. First, the staff, although likely well-meaning, were a bit too present – even following us around to private areas like the restroom, which felt quite invasive. A bit more respect for guests’ privacy would go a long way.

Second, the place felt a bit overpriced for what was offered. While we did enjoy our stay, a better balance between cost and service would definitely improve the overall value.

Still, it’s a lovely spot, and with a few adjustments, it could easily be a 5-star experience.

Amazing Dine in Experience at Farmhouse, food was fresh and served very quick. I think farmhouse needs to work on there desserts the selection is limited and nothing wow - That being said the Food was amazing 10/10 🌟 went for the Desi Fish and Chips Definitely Recommend it

My friends and I had a lovely dinner experience here. We had a table for a Saturday so we expected it to be busy. When we ordered, the server was patient with our allergy requests and whilst we waited, we got to see magic tricks which was fun! The food arrived in a timely manner and it was so delicious. I ordered the steak which was perfectly cooked and the sauce on it was really flavourful. I also got the pear drop mocktail which was yummy!!

I expected more from farmhouse. Firstly I didn't like that we was seated in the extended part of the restaurant. Felt like I was at frosts garden centre seated on garden furniture and was very bright not like inside at all. My starter was great, short ribs and a good portion. My drink was good, overpriced but still good. My mixed grill, my steak was over cooked and the waiter and manager just seemed like they wanted to argue. I know if my steak is over cooked! I didn't want a replacement as I didn't want to wait, they said that all they could do is offer a replacement which I kept refusing! Finally I gave in as I couldn't be bothered to argue and was fed up off repeating myself. They gave me someone else steak which was cooked better but I was over it by then. Lamb chops were also over cooked and the chicken was fine. I also hate when restaurants put your steak on top off the chip for them to get soggy. Most definitely wouldn't rush back
